The free first year

If you register your domain with Zeso, App Hosting is free for the first twelve months. After that it renews automatically at the Launch rate, currently $7.49/month billed annually. You can cancel at any time and keep your files.

This is funded honestly: the domain carries a first-year markup, and that markup is what pays for the hosting year. It is recorded on your subscription as funded_by: domain_markup so the cost of acquisition is visible rather than implied.

What "free forever" actually means

Exactly one thing is free forever: a single-page static site, with a domain registered through Zeso. Everything else either costs money or is free for a bounded period, and we say which on the pricing page.

Apps and visits

App Hosting is metered by number of apps and monthly visits, with no page cap. Static hosting is the opposite: metered by pages, not by traffic.
